Emilio Moro was a dreamer, ahead of his time. His passion developed early from his father, also Emilio Moro, from whom he learned that the culture of hard work was the way to make great wines. In 1987 Bodegas Emilio Moro was founded in Pesquera de Duero, a small town located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, one of the most important and renowned wine regions in Spain and the world, also known as ‘The Golden Mile’.
Our philosophy is based on three pillars: tradition, innovation and social responsibility, seasoned with a passion and love for viticulture.
The words respect, care and gratitude perfectly define our relationship with the earth. It all starts in our vineyards, and our love for them, together with the knowledge we have acquired over generations, has led us to grow and travel abroad.

More than a hundred years of winemaking tradition in the Moro family have made Bodegas Emilio Moro what it is today. Our connection to the land, the deep knowledge passed down from generation to generation and the passion and love that the family has for wine are reflected in every glass, every bottle and every toast.
We work every day to improve the process using innovations in all fields while preserving all the essence and know-how transmitted over the years.
The land has managed to give us so much that we will always be indebted to it. We have developed a series of commitments to do our bit at environmental, social and corporate levels.
