Boris Champy Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Montagne 382 2022 is a white wine from Burgundy, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Montagne de Cras vineyard plot in Nantoux, at an altitude of 382 metres. Its stony, clay-rich soils, surrounded by natural areas of rich biodiversity, give rise to a Chardonnay that combines freshness, elegance and character.
The winemaking process begins with hand harvesting, followed by vinification in 228-litre oak barrels. The wine spends an average of 12 months on its lees, with 25% new oak barrels. This ageing process adds texture and delicate oak nuances without overshadowing the freshness of the Chardonnay.
On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers stand out, accompanied by subtle hints of honey. On the palate, it is generous and fresh, with well-integrated oak and an elegant, balanced finish.
This Burgundy Chardonnay is an excellent choice to enjoy as an aperitif or paired with dishes such as smoked salmon and goat’s cheese. It is certified organic and biodynamic, with an aging potential of 3 to 5 years.
