Sourced from the “Au Clou” vineyard plot in Nantoux (Burgundy region), located at an altitude of 377 metres, this wine comes from very stony, light-coloured soil rich in marl, which lends freshness and a distinctive mineral character. Vinified with a high proportion of whole clusters and aged for 12 months in oak barrels (30% new oak), it reveals aromas of fresh black fruit and a powerful, smooth and vibrant palate, supported by subtle minerality. The character of the terroir is expressed with remarkable precision. Ideal with hearty stews such as boeuf bourguignon, grilled duck breast or rack of lamb. Aging potential: 8–15 years.
