Emilio Moro
Bodegas Emilio Moro’s flagship represents character and tradition. It carries the name of the creator and inspiration of the winery.
Malleolus
Created from grapes from old majuelos (the local name for the vines), this wine marks a turning point in the history of the winery and the world of wine.
Malleolus Valderramiro
Planted in 1924, the famous Pago de Valderramiro vineyard delights us with this wine of purest Tinto Fino character with all its power, structure and intensity.
Malleolus Sanchomartín
With successive vintages lauded by the national and international critics, this excellent wine is a real pleasure for the most demanding palates for its expressiveness and combination of nuances.

The best wine of the Ribera del Duero. An historic wine which pays homage to Bodegas Emilio Moro’s purest Tinto Fino Clone. It fulfils the highest expectations of lovers of wine with personality.

With her passion and dedication, heart of the Moro family, the third generation pays homage to their mother, Felisa, with the brand’s first organic wine free from added sulphites.
Vendimia Seleccionada
Vendimia Seleccionada is born of the utmost care of our best vineyards. Created with the grapes from the Camino Viejo plot, it aims to retrace and honour the history and tradition of Bodegas Emilio Moro.

El Zarzal
A Godello which grows in the bottle. It does justice to the variety and its many nuances without renouncing its freshness.
La Revelía
La Revelía represents for us the maximum expression of the Godello variety, complexity, intensity and finesse with a unique personality.
Tasting notes
Clean and vibrant with a straw yellow colour. The nose stands out for the intensity and complexity of its aromas but with the unmistakable personality of Godello; the elegance of careful preparation and respectful ageing. On the palate, it is unctuous and balanced, with a well-integrated acidity and a longlasting aftertaste.
Elaboration
Fermented at a controlled temperature in French oak barrels, followed by aging on the lees in the same French oak barrels.

El Zarzal
El Zarzal is the wine that opens the Godello range. It is a clear varietal that respects the identity of the variety without losing its freshness.
Tasting notes
Very light yellow straw colour. The nose is fresh and fragrant with notes of ripe white fruit and dry flowers without losing the typical minerality of the variety. In the palate, it maintains its freshness and it is very pleasurable to drink thanks to well-balanced acidity and alcohol.
Elaboration
Fermented in French oak foudres at controlled temperatures with subsequent ageing on the lies.

PRETENDE REMEMORAR Y HONRAR LA HISTORIA Y LA TRADICIÓN DE BODEGAS EMILIO MORO
Bodegas Emilio Moro wishes to relive and honour the history and tradition of Emilio Moro through this wine. That is why the emblematic Camino Viejo estate gives its name to this Vendimia Seleccionada by Bodegas Emilio Moro.
Tasting notes
A very deep dark cherry red colour. Intense and elegant on the nose with a base of black fruits typical of Tempranillo. The polished notes of the wine’s ageing appear behind this, spiced and subtly toasted, creating a complex and elegant whole. It is structured but gentle in the mouth, with a long, lingering aftertaste.
Elaboration
Fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats and aged in French oak barrels.

La Felisa
OUR ORGANIC WINE AND A TRIBUTE TO OUR MOTHER
Felisa has been the backbone of the Moro family and now her children pay her homage. La Felisa is the first organic wine of the brand and free of added sulfites. It is made with grapes from medium age vineyards.
Tasting notes
Deep cherry red in colour, with intense violet rims. It surprises on the nose with aromas of recently fermented grapes. The ensemble is intense and very fruity, with primary notes of Tempranillo at its most natural, blackberry, liquorice; something different in our variety. It has great volume in the mouth, persistent, meaty tannins, balanced acidity and a marked passage.
Elaboration
This is an organic wine without sulphur, fermented at controlled temperature, macerated for 15 days with skins and then aged in French oak barrels of 225/500l.

LA ESENCIA QUE REPRESENTA LA EXPRESIÓN DE UNA FORMA DE SER
This wine reaches the highest levels of quality in Bodegas Emilio Moro, paying homage to the “TINTO FINO CLONE” which is the winery’s greatest asset. The sub-soil and micro-climate of the most emblematic plots and represent the three soil types of Ribera del Duero. The ageing takes place in exclusive barrels, that respects the aroma of the fruit and the land from which it comes, expression of TRADITION, CHARACTER and PASSION.
Tasting notes
Intense cherry red with a violet rim, on the nose elegant, expressive and with great finesse. The 2014 vintage achieves a perfect balance between the elegance of the soils, varietals and ageing . All of this enriched with nuances of the finest oaks enhance the expression of this great wine. In the mouth it is intense, silky and well balanced with a long and persistent aftertaste.
Elaboration
26 days maceration in small capacity vats, malolactic fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels.

Malleolus Sanchomartín
TERROIR DE PERSISTENCIA AROMÁTICA, EXPRESIVO Y MUY PERSONAL
Named as the Sanchomartin vine plot, a 1 hectare vineyard that was planted by grafting clones from the oldest vineyards. The wines produced are tannic and have a marked acidity, which makes them ideal for ageing in oak.
Tasting notes
An intense deep cherry red color. On the nose it stands out for its intensity and the quality of it´s aroms, supported by the character of one of the best vintage in the last ten years. The tempranillo varietals are perfectly integrated in the ensemble of this wine due to ageing in fine oak barrels. On the palate it is powerful and persistant with silky sweet structured tannins. A long and persistant aftertaste.
Elaboration
The alcoholic fermentation and maceration has been made in stainless steel tanks of small size at a controlled temperature for 28 days. After the malolactic fermentation in french oak barrels. It is aged in French oak barrels.

In 2015, Decanter magazine recognized Malleolus de Sanchomartin as the “Best wine in the Ribera del Duero” and at the same time acknowledged the winery as one of the leaders in the D.O. Malleolus de Sanchomartin is frequently featured in the ranking of the top wines in the Ribera del Duero by magazines such as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate.
Malleolus Valderramiro
TERROIR DE GRAN INTENSIDAD BALSÁMICA Y UNTUOSIDAD
Named as the Valderramiro vine plot, planted in 1924. This wine represents the maximum respect and importance for the “terroir”.
Tasting notes
Cherry red very covered. On the nose it is intense and complex, very characteristic of this wine and which again another year expresses the best of our oldest vine. The varieties of the most genuine tempranillo are the protagonists, mature and rich in nuances thanks to aging in fine oak barrels. On the palate it is powerful with silky and long lasting tannins The finish is long and persistant.
Elaboration
The alcoholic fermentation has taken place in stainless steel tanks for 26 days of small size at a controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation took place in American oak barrels. The wine has aged in French oak barrels.

Malleolus de Valderramiro has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast as the 7th best wine in the world in their issue “Top 100 Cellars of the World 2005”, with 97 points. The Spanish economic journal Expansión considers it as the 3rd “Best wine in Spain”.
Malleolus
ALTA EXPRESIÓN DE LA VARIEDAD TINTO FINO
The word “Malleolus” comes from Latin and means majuelo (hawthorn), which is the way the locals refer to the vineyards in Pesquera de Duero. To elaborate this wine, we have chosen grapes from old majuelos, trained as bushes and on trellising.
Tasting notes
Very deep, intense cherry red in colour, this Malleolus presents a concentration typical of the 2017 vintage, a result of the low yield mentioned above. It has a dense, ripe aroma, with good intensity and a great personality. The balance between ripeness and freshness is excellent, and its months of ageing in 500-litre barrels has granted it´s great complexity. It is powerful and structured in the mouth, with good balance and a long, persistent passage.
Elaboration
This wine is elaborated with grapes of the variety Tinto Fino 100%, and has macerated with it’s owns skins for 18 days. Following malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, it is aged in French oak barrels.
Awards
Malleolus is one of the most internationally recognized wines and it has been awarded several gold medals. In 2015 it was included in Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 100 wine” list, ranking 65th.
Emilio Moro
REFERENCIA AL ESPÍRITU DE LA RIBERA DEL DUERO
This wine, bearing the name of its creator, is the alma mater of the winery. Since the 1998 harvest the winery reffers to this wine wich is made from middle-age vineyards, althought Emilio Moro was previously used for crianzas and reservas.
Tasting notes
Elegant and subtle, a low production volume which has brought out the best essences of the grape. It’s a powerful, balanced wine with exceptional elegance. The aromas of Tempranillo have been refined through the ageing process and it has notes of wood in the background and the personality of the variety. In the palate, it is a reflection of the nose: strong and powerful with mellow and refined tannins.
Elaboration
Elaborated from grapes from middle-age vineyards. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent ageing in French and American oak barrels.
Awards
This wine has been awarded 90+ points by the most important rating magazines in the world. It also earned a spot in Wine Advocate Magazine (2010) as one of the “Best 100 wines from Spain” and the second place of the “Top 9 Spanish wines” classification by Gregory Pal Píaz, among others.
Finca Resalso
EXPRESIÓN DE NUESTROS VIÑEDOS MÁS JÓVENES
Finca Resalso is the name of an historic vineyard that was planted in 1932, the year Emilio Moro was born. This is the name we have given to our young wine, which is made from grapes from our young vines.
Tasting notes
Red cherry color with a violet rim. On the nose it is extraordinarily expressive and fresh, with unique characteristics from the Tempranillo variety. On the palate it shows well structured tannins and balanced acidity with a long, warm and lasting finish.
Elaboration
The wine macerates with its own skins for 12 days, so later the malolactic fermentation is made for 30 days in stainless steel deposits. Finally, it is aged in French oaks barrels.
