Polvorete arrived in 2019 to complete the family of Godello wines that Bodegas Emilio Moro produces in El Bierzo. It is made from 100% Godello grapes, a distinguishing feature of our whites that lets you get to know the variety to the full.
The label pays homage to the people of Bierzo, to those people who, for generations, have cared for the land that today provides us with the grapes from which we make our wines.
Polvorete comes from the flat areas of our vineyards, which are areas of greater fertility with deeper and fresher soils that give Polvorete fruity and more perfumed aromas.
Polvorete is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and remains in contact with the lees for 4 months.

The 2025 vintage in El Bierzo was defined by a balanced climate overall, although some warm periods advanced both the vegetative cycle and the harvest. Winter brought mild temperatures, with no significant frosts that could have affected budburst. Spring unfolded with moderate and consistent rainfall, ensuring good soil moisture reserves and even vegetative development. Summer was dry and warm, with heat peaks in July and August that accelerated ripening, resulting in an earlier harvest compared to previous years. Thanks to the absence of heavy rainfall during harvest and the excellent sanitary condition of the vineyard, the grapes reached the winery in outstanding condition.
