Amongst its wide range of wines, the Malleolus trio stands out for its ability to penetrate deeply and <strong>win over the most demanding palates in the world of wine<\/strong>, and, on this occasion, two of the winery&#8217;s most premium wines are the stars of this celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The American publication <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winespectator.com\/\"><em>Wine Spectator<\/em><\/a>, one of the most important international references in wine, has awarded very high ratings to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\/producto\/comprar-malleolus-de-valderramiro\/\">Malleolus de Valderramiro<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\/producto\/comprar-malleolus-de-sanchomartin\/\">Malleolus de Sanchomart\u00edn<\/a>. To be precise, the wines from the Moro family&#8217;s winery received a <strong>95-point<\/strong> rating for Malleolus de Valderramiro and <strong>96 points<\/strong> for Malleolus de Sanchomart\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>In the words of the winery&#8217;s technical director, \u00c1lvaro Maestro, \u2018the great thing about these wines is that they <strong>are totally modern wines<\/strong> that, without losing the essence of the historic vineyards from which they come, <strong>know how to extract the best of the land and put it in the glass<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Malleolus de Valderramiro <strong>comes from one of the oldest vineyards<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\/la-familia\/\">Bodegas Emilio Moro<\/a>, planted in 1924. Cherry red in colour with garnet tinges, it has an intense and elegant bouquet. One perceives aromas of ripe fruit. Sweet and gentle tannins, with a long and very persistent finish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-82249\" src=\"https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/POST_WINESPECTATOR_MV18.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Malleolus de Sanchomart\u00edn is the <strong>purest reflection of the <em>terroir<\/em>.<\/strong> Aged in French oak barrels, it is remarkable for the richness of nuances it reveals when tasted. Aromatically it is a wine with varietal character, but with the personality of the limestone soils, it is subtle and suggestive. The palate is full-bodied and balanced with intense sensations similar to those perceived on the bouquet.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018These are two wines that <strong>have no limits, either in terms of quality or international prestige<\/strong>\u2019, says the president of Bodegas Emilio Moro, <strong>Javier Moro<\/strong>, whose experience of more than 30 years as commercial director of the winery has shown him the growth experienced by these wines outside Spain. \u2018Valderramiro and Sanchomart\u00edn <strong>are an example of our commitment to quality<\/strong>, and their development has contributed significantly to the expansion of the Spanish brand internationally\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Something with which Maestro agrees, for whom the greatness of these wines is that \u2018despite coming from very close areas, thanks to the soils, the altitudes, the way the vines develop and the family&#8217;s way of understanding wine, they <strong>are capable of creating two very different profiles<\/strong> with different perceptible nuances in tasting, both of which are at a very high level of quality\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>These ratings further enhance the reputation that these wines had already achieved on their own merits.
