For this reason, it carries out several actions such as, for example, the <strong>inclusion of Braille on the labels of its products<\/strong> to make them accessible to the visually impaired.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, during 2022, they carried out different actions and collaborations with associations that members of the entire winery participated in, a gesture that demonstrates that <strong>the growth of social responsibility in the company and its commitment are real.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2018For some years now, we have been carrying out different projects to promote the inclusion of all people in society,\u2019 says Vanesa Manrique, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>In September, as part of the grape harvest, the winery, in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downvalladolid.org\/\">Down Valladolid<\/a>, organised an event called <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5KVmkwkqYWk\"><strong>\u2018Discover the Grape Harvest\u2019<\/strong><\/a> in its vineyards in which <strong>more than 50 children with Down&#8217;s Syndrome, accompanied by friends and family<\/strong>, participated in different educational workshops. Through these activities <strong>they learned about the grape harvesting process<\/strong>, in the form of a game, <strong>guided by collaborators from the winery<\/strong>, who also showed them the importance of <strong>environmental awareness with a recycling workshop<\/strong> in which the children were able to give a second life to corks by creating key rings and different ornaments.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"EVENTO DOWN VALLADOLID EN BODEGAS EMILIO MORO\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5KVmkwkqYWk?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Manrique states that \u2018companies like Bodegas Emilio Moro, given our reputation, understand that we must set an example by giving visibility to initiatives that favour <strong>environmental sustainability, quality management and food safety<\/strong>, as part of our social responsibility\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Also within the social sphere, during the years 2020 and 2021, a period marked by the pandemic caused by COVID-19, Bodegas Emilio Moro gave all the people who are part of the company <strong>a card valued at 50 euros to be used in the hospitality industry<\/strong>, thus promoting the economy of this sector that is so important for the winery and which was so affected by the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, as part of a collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bancodealimentosdevalladolid.es\/\">Valladolid Food Bank<\/a>, the winery raffled off <strong>a complete basket of products<\/strong>. To participate, the requirement was the purchase of raffles, <strong>the total proceeds of which went entirely to this organisation<\/strong>. The president of the Food Bank, <strong>Jes\u00fas Mediavilla, visited the facilities of the winery<\/strong> to give a talk to the collaborators and tell them about the work carried out by the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-82165\" src=\"https:\/\/www.emiliomoro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/jesus-mediavilla.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The winery, run by the third generation of the Moro family, with <strong>Javier Moro as president<\/strong>, has a strong international presence, and as part of this growth, also<strong> carries out collaborations in other countries.<\/strong> For some years now, Bodegas Emilio Moro has been collaborating with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cantaroazul.org\/mision-y-vision\">C\u00e1ntaro Azul Foundation<\/a>, a non-profit organisation based in Mexico. The aim is <strong>to provide access to safe drinking water and to advocate for the fair distribution of water<\/strong> resources and promote the consumption of safe water among the most deprived children.<\/p>\n<p>Another of the winery&#8217;s international agreements is with the international humanitarian organisation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accioncontraelhambre.org\/es\">Action Against Hunger<\/a> with a <strong>project in Colombia<\/strong>. A collaboration that began with the aim of <strong>supporting the most vulnerable communities in Colombia through the project \u2018Because Water is Life\u2019<\/strong>, for which both entities have provided <strong>safe food, health care, hygiene<\/strong> and guaranteed access to safe water for human consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Bodegas Emilio Moro aims for constant improvement in all areas.
