Emilio Moro Foundation

The Emilio Moro Foundation is an expression of Bodegas Emilio Moro's corporate social responsibility vocation. Our Foundation's main aspiration is to contribute to the cause of a fair distribution of water resources among the neediest populations as well as to contribute to the education of young people at risk of social exclusion. In addition, the Emilio Moro Foundation carries out a continuous monitoring and control of all donations.

SOLIDARITY BREAKFAST

Throughout 2019 and 2020, the Emilio Moro Foundation financed 9,500 solidarity breakfasts offered by the Parish of San Antón together with Mensajeros de la Paz and Father Ángel. This charitable initiative of the Emilio Moro Foundation is based on the solid values of a family that has always shown itself to be sensitive and willing to get involved in causes to which it can contribute. What’s more, the winery’s own employees worked as volunteers, travelling to Madrid to help serve the solidarity breakfasts.

WINE HELPS WATER

Under the slogan 'wine helps water', the Emilio Moro Foundation has focused a large part of its efforts and resources on providing access to drinking water to the most deprived areas of the planet. For this reason, it has been collaborating with the Mexican civil association Cántaro Azul since 2015 in the development and implementation of the Safe Water programme, which aims to promote access to safe water and healthy environments in rural schools in Mexico.

BECAUSE WATER IS LIFE

The Emilio Moro Foundation together with Action Against Hunger have started a collaboration to support the most vulnerable communities in Colombia through the project “Because Water is Life”. This programme will provide safe food, sanitation, hygiene and access to safe water for human consumption to Guajirita in the municipality of Jerico, a community of more than 500 men, women and children.

“IF YOU KNOW HOW TO LISTEN, WINE SPEAKS TO YOU”

This is the title of the Bodegas Emilio Moro book, a testimony of passion, tradition and roots, which tells the story of the winery from the first generation. What’s more, all proceeds will go towards funding the Emilio Moro Foundation.

CHEFSFORCHILDREN

For the second year in a row, we took part in the Chefs&Kids charity event in the city of Marbella, where 27 Michelin-starred chefs came together to collaborate with the Aladina Foundation. The event had a strong educational character as over one hundred children spent the day playing with food, learning about the importance of a healthy diet and enjoying a day of games, fun and laughter, bringing to life the slogan of this great initiative: Yes, you CAN play with your food!

DON’T TELL ME IT’S NOT POSSIBLE FOUNDATION

Companionship, empathy towards others, respect, effort, the spirit of self-improvement and the self-confidence to face situations of adversity are some of the values that we defend and share with A mí no me digas que no se puede. Together with the cultural association led by rapper Juan Manuel Montilla Macarrón 'El Langui', we support projects that help young people at risk of social exclusion.

Clon de la Familia

Emilio Moro Clon de la Familia, a limited production of 1,000 bottles of Bodegas Emilio Moro most select and representative wine. This wine is not only a recognition of the family legacy that, over the years, has made it possible to select a Tempranillo variety clone, it is also a commitment to society by the Moro family, as proceeds will be used to fund projects.
