
Bodegas Emilio Moro is one of the most visited wineries for Ribera del Duero wine in 2016, according to Vintage Spain. This data was made public today at an event held in the Museo Provincial del Vino de Peñafiel. In attendance was the General Director of Tourism for the Castilla y Leon region, Javier Ramírez Utrilla. Also receiving this distinction together with Bodegas Emilio Moro, were Bodegas Alejandro Fernández Tinto Pesquera, Arzuaga Navarro, El Lagar de Isilla, Emina, Portia, Protos, PradoRey, Villacreces and Viñedos Viña Mayor. The Ribera del Duero Wine Route marked a record number of visits in 2016, totaling 351,389. This is 73,072 more than the previous year, which is an increase of 28.81%. The total number of visitors to the wineries on the Route amounts to 253,640, the fourth quarter had the best figures for the year as it coincides with the grape harvest.
