The prestigious winery from Ribera del Duero was given an award by ONCE de Castilla y León in recognition of its commitment to visually impaired people
Over the years this commitment has manifested itself in initiatives such as the inclusion of Braille labels on all bottles and being the first to create a wine tourism programme in the region for people with visual impairment.
Of the three pillars that support the philosophy of Bodegas Emilio Moro, tradition, innovation and corporate social responsibility, it is the latter that is the most human, the most tangible. It is a pillar for which the winery has been awarded the ONCE Solidarity Prize, an award that aims to reward “people and companies who stand out due to their solidarity work in their sphere of influence” and, specifically, “for the promotion of social inclusion for all citizens, normalisation, personal autonomy, universal accessibility and independent life”.
